Gary Stellato is a Managing Director and GCC’s General Counsel, responsible for legal risk and structuring as well as transaction and asset management. Gary has practiced law for over 20 years, in both private practice and in-house capacities.
Gary joined Greystone from Cantor Fitzgerald, where he was a Managing Director and Assistant General Counsel serving as the senior transactional and general counsel for the CMBS platform (Cantor Commercial Real Estate) and DUS lending business (Newmark/Berkeley Point Capital), as well as working with the structured products group and Cantor’s property REIT. Prior to his time at Cantor, Gary worked in the real estate department of Sidley Austin LLP. He began his legal career at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.
Gary received an A.B. in economics from Brown University and his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Georgetown University.
