Charlie Baxter is Chief Executive Officer of Greystone’s Agency lending business. In this role, he will oversee compliance with Agency rules, strategy for the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac businesses, and all GSC Agency lending team employees. Mr. Baxter assumes this role after eight years as Greystone’s Chief Underwriter and head of GSC’s Agency underwriting function. Mr. Baxter has nearly two decades of experience working in multifamily lending compliance and credit.
Charlie received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wofford College and an MBA from Georgia State University. He also holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Charlie is a Commander in the United States Naval Reserve.
