Michael Zampetti

Michael Zampetti is a highly experienced multifamily and commercial real estate lender with 25 years of progressive leadership experience across a variety of capital sources. He has an extensive background in the end-to-end originations, structuring, underwriting, and asset management processes throughout various business cycles.

Michael joined Greystone in 2020 and is currently focused on originating debt opportunities for multifamily and commercial real estate properties via Greystone’s direct capital solutions. In addition, Michael is actively sourcing alternative debt/equity capital sources for sponsors on an advisory basis.

Prior to joining Greystone, Michael spent eight years at CIBC providing balance sheet and commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS) loans. Before CIBC, Michael spent three years at CWCapital overseeing the sale of non-performing loans and REO properties out of the special servicing portfolio. He started his CRE lending career at Credit Suisse in the Real Estate Finance & Securitization group.

Michael graduated from the University of Scranton with a degree in Finance and minor is History.
