Ravi Padmanaban, based in Chicago, serves as the Director of Originations at Greystone, bringing with him 17 years of experience in real estate lending and investment. He specializes in providing capital markets solutions such as FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, bridge, and CMBS executions tailored for multifamily and healthcare property investors. Ravi’s background includes roles at Freddie Mac, GE Real Estate, CBRE, Newmark, and Lument on the debt side, as well as Berkshire Residential Investments on the equity side. He transitioned from underwriting to originations after several years and has experience across various asset types including conventional multifamily, affordable multifamily, manufactured housing, seniors housing, hotels, and homebuilding. Additionally, he brings seven years of development experience, having worked for institutional investors.
Academically, Ravi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Emory University, a Master of Science in Finance from George Washington University, and a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate from Cornell University.
