Steve is a seasoned business and finance executive with a 35-year career, specializing in leadership, team building, portfolio growth, business development, relationship expansion, and effective risk management. His current role at Greystone focuses on advancing bank, fund, and direct relationships through the expansion of banking and direct origination models. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Head of BHI’s Real Estate and Healthcare platforms, successfully increasing the portfolio from $1 billion to $4 billion. Steve’s expertise encompasses strategy, product development, capital markets, and the professional advancement of team members. Additionally, he was a voting member of Executive Management and Credit Committees at three financial institutions, showcasing his strong industry presence and experience across various sectors and credit profiles. Steve has a track record of creating and launching new business verticals at multiple financial institutions. He holds a BA and MBA in Finance and Investments from the George Washington University.
