Tim Thompson

Tim Thompson is the Managing Director at Greystone, specializing in West Coast Agency Loan Production. After being based in San Francisco, CA for 13 years, Tim relocated to Austin, TX in 2020.

With two decades of experience at Greystone, Tim brings extensive expertise to his role. Before joining Greystone, he served as an underwriter at Collateral Mortgage Capital. Over his career, Tim has worked in underwriting for six years and in loan production on the West Coast for 17 years. His experience encompasses a wide range of Greystone's offerings, including conventional Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loans, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac small loans, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac affordable loans, Bridge loans, FHA loans, and CMBS loans.

Tim holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama.
